I would like to take this moment and say how much I admire the work that David Bentley and Michael Sant are doing with MapClicks. Not only is the product (the actual map) graphically pleasing, but also the whole format makes it easy to use. I own a Gallery in the Alberta District and have seen many a visitor with the map in their hands, touring the street. It is an indispensable tool for my business and a way that I can direct people to other places of business on the street.
In addition to the actual map, the web page and links to other businesses have gotten rave reviews from both customers and other merchants. And, of course, it has become a way to connect with the other districts through their maps. Portland has become connected through their efforts.
On another note, both Michael and David have been a joy to work with. They are untiring in working with the merchants and have managed to unite a rather disparate group here. They are both clear in their business dealings and their direction for MapClicks. Congratulations to them and long live their vision.

Although I intended to sign up with the downtown LO map regardless of
any input, I decided to call one store on each of your existing maps to
see what the store owners had to say about your product and services.
I chose stores that seemed the closest to mine as far as target
audiences.
Each store I called was delighted in every way with the results of the map and with your handling of their account. I treat my business as a way of life, and not just an income.
