NOW...I have had southern food. Hell I married a southern girl! So when we are in the mood to go south with our palate, Bernie's is the stop. Their greens are on the money, and the fried pickles are as good as it is going to get. Chicken was good, and the owners name is Kelly she has always been nice. Of course I tell her each time I drive to come here. That will get you service. One thing thou.. don't take the fried pickles the go for later, the don't keep! P.S. summer time is a treat like back home, Kelly will serve you out back on the deck...nice too with heaters when it gets cool and no bugs! |
